The Beginning
Take refuge and arouse bodhichitta.
The Main Part
Meditate on the three negative actions of the body:
Killing: This includes taking the life of any sentient being, from humans to the smallest insects. It is the most serious negative action and leads to a short life and rebirth in the hell realms.
Stealing: This means taking anything that is not given, whether by force, stealth, or deception. It leads to poverty and rebirth as a preta.
Sexual misconduct: This involves engaging in sexual acts that cause harm to others or violate vows. It leads to rebirth in unhappy states and domestic discord.
I have committed these actions countless times in the past, either directly or by encouraging others. Therefore, resolve: I will strictly avoid these three negative actions of the body from now on and will protect the lives and property of others.
The Ending
Dedicate all the merit of your practice to all sentient beings.
