The Beginning
Take refuge and arouse bodhichitta.
The Main Part
Meditate on the teacher as a mirror: The qualities I see in my teacher are a reflection of my own state of mind. If I have pure perception, I will see my teacher as a Buddha; if my mind is defiled, I may see faults in them. The teacher's apparent actions are skillful means used to guide me, and I should never doubt their wisdom or compassion.
By following the teacher's example and instructions, I will gradually purify my own mind and realize the same qualities that they possess. The teacher is the most important person in my spiritual life, for they hold the key to my enlightenment.
Therefore, resolve: I will abandon all critical thoughts about my teacher and will only focus on their perfect qualities.
The Ending
Dedicate all the merit of your practice to all sentient beings.
